Optimal I–V Curve Scan Time for a GaAs Laser Power Converter

Current–voltage (I–V) curve measurement is an essential performance characterization technique for laser power converters (LPCs). Choosing appropriate scan time can effectively avoid problems in the test process that lead to inaccurate data. We analyzed I–V error of a GaAs LPC relation by building system LPCs. A method determining optimal time, defined as period containing upper limit and lower limit, presented. The effects temperature measured were investigated through comparative tests, scanning was determined. hysteresis equivalent capacitance LPCs analyzed. upward determined establishing relationship between time.
